Pamela Ruth Spearry

Pamela Ruth Spearry, age 70 of Wellston, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Holzer Medical Center- Jackson ER. She was born in Wellston on March 27, 1954, to the late Roy H. Gilliland Sr. and Marjorie A. Ward Gilliland. She was a 1972 graduate of Wellston High School and married her husband, Timothy R. Spearry, on November 27, 1981, who survives. They had one daughter, Rachel Pearl Spearry, who now lives in Columbus, Ohio. Pamela was well known by all the customers of the Family Dollar Store in Wellston where she worked in stocking for nearly 20 years. She loved collecting Gnomes and taking care of her cats. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and doing clothing alterations for her family. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Paul " Ted " Gilliland, and a sister, Sandra Arthur. Besides her husband and daughter, she is survived by a sister, Sharon ( Paul ) Jackson of Jackson, Ohio; two brothers, Roy H. Gilliland Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, and Jeffrey ( Barb ) Gilliland of Minford, Ohio; six nieces : Kristin Denney, Paula ( Roy ) Arthur, Dee ( Art ) Scalf, MJ Gilliland, Kenzie Fortner, and Kiley Marshall; eight nephews: Zach, Paul, and John Gilliland, Austin Towning, Caleb Denney , Daniel and Nick Scalf, and Donnie Arthur Jr. Family and friends may gather at the Jenkins Funeral Chapel in Wellston on Tuesday, September 3rd from 12 P.M. until time of services at 2 P.M. officiated by Pastor Barry Benson.
