Julia Ann Chapman passed away at her daughter's home in Hamden, Ohio, on Saturday morning, October 10, 2015. She was born in Gallipolis, Ohio, August 13, 1948, to the late Leslie and Florence Barlow Jackson. She was a 1966 graduate of Jackson High School and a former member of the Christian Church of Byer. She loved to camp and ride her Harley-Davidson motorcycle. And she loved her dog named Harley, too. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, Loren Brewer, second husband, Robert Chapman, and close brother-in-law, Don Woodruff.
Surviving is her husband, Harry C. Manring Jr. of Hamden; son, Robbie Auxier of Waverly, Ohio; Three daughters; Chrissy ( Joe) Marks of Hamden, Leslie (Brian) Diehl of Groveport, and Angela(Danny) Napper of Wellston; three step-children: Harry C. Manring III ( Adoracion Poling) of Hamden, Trevor D, (Racheal) Manring of Hamilton, and Heather D. ( Matthew) Borghese of Thurman; brother, Gene Jackson of Jackson; Three sisters: Juanita Woodruff of Jackson, Leona ( Ed ) Humphrey of Texas, and Elverie Auxier of Missouri; 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call at the Jenkins Funeral Chapel in Wellston on Tuesday from 6 until 8 P.M. Services will be Wednesday at 11 A.M. with Pastor J.D. Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Byer Cemetery.
