Jay “Jay Bird” Jeffery Gibson
Jay “Jay Bird” Jeffery Gibson, 52, of McArthur, Ohio, left the arms of his loving family at his home on Thursday morning, June 25, 2015.
He was born in Columbus, Ohio, on August 28, 1962, to the late James Estel Gibson and Susie Bell Scarberry Gibson. He was a former employee of General Clay of Nelsonville. He loved to spend his free time trading in collectibles and watching movies.
He will be greatly missed by the following :
two sisters, Janet (David Shafer) Perry of Wellston and Virginia ( Danny ) Lafferty of McArthur; three brothers, Chris Scarberry, James Estel ( Pam ) Gibson, and Willard Gibson, all of McArthur; many nieces and nephews; and his favorite dog, Frankie.
The family will receive friends at the Jenkins Funeral Chapel in Wellston
on Monday from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M.
Pastor Steve Mathews will officiate the services with burial to follow in the Paw Paw Cemetery, U.S. Highway 50, McArthur, Ohio.
The family requests any memorial contributions in Jay Bird’s memory be applied to his burial expenses in care of the Jenkins Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 451, Wellston, Ohio 45692.
