Charlotte R. Patrick, 83, of Wellston, Ohio, while surrounded by her family, went Home with her Lord on Thursday morning, December 7, 2023, at her residence. She was born on April 13, 1940, at Berlin Crossroads in Milton Township. She was the eldest of 10 daughters born to the late Charles Earl Coon and Nellie Elizabeth Perkins Coon. She began working at 17 years old at the Hercules Pants Factory in Wellston and continued there when it was renamed Kuppenheimer, and stayed there after the business closed and then became the Chocolate Factory. She was the administrative assistant in the mayor's office of the City of Wellston from which she retired at the age of 81. When not at work, Charlotte could be found sewing, upholstering furniture, painting, crafting, cooking, and watching the OSU football games. She and her late husband, Carl David Patrick, were members of the Horse Creek Motorcycle Club in Athens, Ohio, and enjoyed going to the Wellston and Wilkesville VFW's. She also found time to take her walks on the bike path located near her home. She was a member of the Fire Church of Wellston. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Coon Montgomery, and her grandson, Jerrod Arthur. She is survived by three daughters : Vicki Arthur-Rupert ( Pete Rupert ) of Wyoming, Belinda Pratt ( Bill Perkins ) of Wellston, and Jona Cozad of Wellston; a step son and step daughters, Rick Arthur, Peggy Arthur, and Kim ( Patrick ) Devlin ; 8 sisters : Rena Massie of Wellston, Margaret Speakman ( Sonny ) of Ray, Karen Dickmann ( Tom ) of California, Nellie " Billie " Speakman ( Kevin Potts ) of Wellston, Deborah Jo Hill of Wellston, Kathy Parsons ( Bill ) of Jackson, Linda " Jimmie " Coon ( Friend Sandy ) of Kansas, and Rose M. Gilliland ( Dave ) of Oak Hill; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and her two dogs, Baby Boy and Tiny, and her grand dog, Bailey. Charlotte requested cremation, and her family will have an inurnment at Byer Cemetery at a later date. They have suggested to make any memorial donations in Charlotte's name to the Jackson County Dog Pound, 25 East South Street, Jackson, Ohio 45640 or to the Fire Church, 901 S.
