Bill Brian Farney

Bill Brian Farney, 24, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born in Gallipolis, Oho on July 19, 2000, to Bill Farney III ( Jessie ) of Oak Hill, Ohio, and Alishia Massie of Jackson, Ohio. He was a 2018 graduate of Oak Hill High School and had been employed for the past six years as a welder/fabricator for BrenMar of Jackson. In his free time , he loved riding his motorcycle and playing computer video games. He also loved his dog, Bane, who survives. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Emma Pittenger; great grandmother, Norma Farney, and his grandparents, Charles and Marolyn Rife. Besides his parents, he is also survived by three brothers : James Hamblin of Jackson, and Devon and Kayden Farney of Oak Hill; a sister, Johnna Hamblin Stone of Wellston, a nephew, Bentley Stone; his grandfather, Bill Farney Jr. of Wellston; his grandfather and grandmother, John and Valerie " Nan Nan " Gearing of Wellston; and uncles, aunts, and cousins. Family and friends may gather at the Jenkins Funeral Chapel in Wellston on Saturday from 10:30 A.M. until the funeral hour at 12:30 P.M.
